In the last month I've...
Finally been able to wear cute shoes again!!!
Actually wanted to wear something besides sweatpants...
Watched more t.v. then I thought was humanly possible but when you are the only source of food for your baby you watch a lot of Love it or List it...
Spent another night in the hospital- turns out Charlie has acid reflux and apnea- scary at first but hoping the medicine will give her some relief...
Started cooking again and by cooking I mean actually preparing meals from real food and not making hamburger helper or other boxed dinners every night of the week...
Wonder how moms ever fold laundry- I can get it washed but folded and put away seems to be impossible...
Gone to a coupon class (first hour and a half I spent away from Charlie) actually learned a lot...
Realized how sexy it is to watch your husband soothing your baby who is hurting from gas and acid reflux- seeing him growing into his role as daddy- makes me realize how important it is when you are choosing the father of your children...
Got Charlie her Easter outfit- I am not doing an Easter basket this year- don't judge me she's only a month old what am I suppose to put in there? Breast milk from the Easter Bunny?!? I feel like that would be a little weird. So we are just skipping that part but we are gonna get her a stuffed bunny or a duck. When I was little I got a duck for Easter. His name was Chester and I loved him for years. Charlie might need a Chester too...
Haven't eaten a Rice Krispie Treat since I was pregnant- thank goodness I was starting to worry about that addiction...

Hi! New follower, found you over on Casey's blog! :)
ReplyDeleteNo judging on the Easter basket, my son was born ON Easter morning last year! And he had no Peeps or Chocolate bunnies waiting for him upon his arrival! :) He did, however, have terrible reflux! It was a rough adjustment, many trips to doctors, but once we got him on the correct medicine, life got better. Hang in there and congrats!
I already miss those precious first moments.
xo,
Lauren
Ashley, this nursery room is beautiful! Will you come help me decorate mine? Bill and I are moving to Des Moines in June! Congrats on the new babe, she is precious! Love your blog too.
ReplyDeletelove, margo
