DIY embroidery hoop decorations

This is an easy no sew project. I literally made 10 in about 2o minutes. To be fair, the fabric flowers had been previously made. But still so easy and such a great pay off! I want to use them after the wedding too, either for a nursery, or for Valentines Day decorations. Either way I think they are super cute and fun.

Don't you just love these sweet little nests? They cost me about 2 bucks to make and took an evening of sitting around drinking a bottle of wine with friends worth of effort. In other words little cost, little thinking, and major cuteness! I am going to use these little cuties to embellish our Schnapps Bar bottles- my hard sought collection of bottles is below. etsy wedding invitations

So I finally found my wedding invitations! After endless hours of google image surfing- I have at last exactly what I want. Usually I am an old fashion girl but on my invitations I wanted to do something fresh and new {and did I mention easy?} That is when I found this darling shop on Etsy. It was everything I wanted. A one stop shop. This Etsy artist does custom portraits that she scans into a computer image. That you can then print off your own invitations, on your own paper, in the comfort of your own home. And maybe even have a little money left over for some funky vintage stamps.

Did I mention that she has a friend who does maps to match???

diy monogram letters

These were super easy to make. I bought the letters made out of cardboard at Hobby Lobby for about 2 bucks each. Then I used gold tissue paper to decoupage to the letters. Then embellish as you wish!
